Beekeeping Near You

Representing beekeepers nationwide

FIBKA clg is the largest beekeeping organisation in Ireland, representing over 40 local associations and their members. We advocate for beekeepers nationwide and liaise on their behalf at national and international level with state, semi-state and other bodies.

We provide a wide range of services to our members including insurance, education, lectures, regular news updates and events, including an annual Summer School.

Anyone considering taking up beekeeping should join their local association where they will find beginners’ courses, lectures, demonstrations, ongoing education, mentoring and advice as well as a community of like-minded enthusiasts.  Membership of FIBKA is only available through affiliated associations.
